Setting the Number of Pages for a Check Page Routine

1. Select Check Pages.
Note
If the Check Pages button is not available and the Enable button is blue, select Enable
and then select the Check Pages button.
The Check Pages number pad opens.
2. Type the number of pages you want to print and select OK.
The page value appears on the Check Pages button in the status area, for example,
Pages: 100, and the number of pages for a Check Pages routine is set.
Note
The default setting for the Check Pages page count is five (5), however a page count
of 100 is recommended to allow the Image Sensor to correct for missing jets. For
more information, see
3. To activate the Check Pages value, select Enable.

Printing a Check Pages Routine

1. Place the CiPress into a Ready state.
The CiPress will begin printing as soon as:
• A job appears in the active job display.
• All components in the line have a Ready state.
Once the CiPress begins printing, the number on the Check Pages button decreases
by one as each page prints until it reaches zero. After all pages print and the number
value is zero, the Check Pages Status dialog box displays this message:
Check Pages has completed printing: <xx> pages
2. Select Close on the Check Pages dialog box.
The value on the Check Pages button returns to the original value set for the current
Check Pages session.
3. To continue printing the job, select the green Start button.

Advancing the Web

You can advance the web by selecting the CiPress icon in the Print Line area and selecting
one of the web feed options:
• Feed - a slow advance of approximately 50 feet per minute. This advance is activated
and maintained by continuously pressing Feed.
