Common Printer Controls

Throughout the CiPress interface, a number of controls are common to the various
views.

Operating the CiPress User Interface
Description
This button replaces the Start and Stop buttons
following a system / printer fault and is used to reset
the printer when the fault is cleared.
Once Reset is pressed and the system detects no further
fault conditions, the Reset button is replaced by the
Start and Stop buttons.
The clock is not related to printing, but is placed in this
location for convenience. The time on the clock is set
automatically by the system.
This indicator displays the amount of time in minutes
and seconds for the system to transition between the
conditions listed below. The conditions are listed
according to display priority precedence from high to
low:
• Initializing state - Entry to exit
• Warming state - Entry to exit
• Preparing to cycle up - Entry to exit
• Setting Job Source Online to Transition to Online

Note
When more than one transition is occurring
simultaneously, the elapsed time indication displays
for the highest precedence transition.
Description
Returns any modified values to the system default
values.
Allows measurement designatons in inches or
millimeters.
Note
Switching between Inch and MM automatically
converts the unit of measurement from one to the
other. The measurement unit above the value field
also changes.
