Resetting User Access Level Passwords

If a User Access Level password is lost, the system allows for the password to be reset
to the default. However, this feature is set up so that a particular User Access Level can
only reset the password of the level below them. For example, the Key Operator can only
reset the password of the Advanced Operator. The Advanced Operator can not reset a
password because the level below them, the Operator, does not have a set password.
Note
If the Key Operator User Access Level password is lost, please contact your Xerox customer
service representative for assistance.
The following procedure details how to reset the password of the Advanced Operator.
1. Select the User Access Level box in the upper right corner of the screen.
The User Access Level Login screen appears.
2. Select the Advanced Operator User Access Level.
3. Enter the appropriate password and select Enter.
4. Select Reset Password.
A confirmation window appears.
5. Select Yes.
A confirmation window appears.
6. Select OK.
