How to Run DC 142 Color Maintenance

Ensure that the appropriate version of the X-Rite ColorPort software is installed on the
color calibration computer prior to performing this procedure. Contact a Xerox
representative for more information.
1. Ensure the form length is set to at least 737 mm (29 in.).

2. Log in as a Key Operator.

Operators and Advanced Operators cannot access the

3. Select the Diagnostics view icon.
4. To determine if DC 141 Head Setup should be performed prior to DC 142 Color
Maintenance, see the table in the
5. Select DC 142 Color Maintenance in the Maintenance column.

6. Follow the instructions.
Several copies of the calibration targets are printed.
7. At the post-processing device, remove two copies of the calibration targets.
Note
Each copy of the calibration targets has two pages. Look at the Headers to ensure
that the proper pages are cut. Two copies are recommended to be removed in case
one is cut wrong in the following step.
