Error message table
The error message table provides a real-time list of system errors presented, by default,
in order of error code severity with the most severe error appearing at the top of the list.
The table includes the error code, an abbreviation for the side of the machine location,
and the error message.
Note
To open the associated error recovery help screen, select the table row containing the
error.
Print Line menu and print line components display
The print line status area consists of the Print Line menu, and the print line components
display which appears as a series of puzzle pieces representing the different components.
Print Line menu
Use the Print Line menu to select which print line will be active.
Note
The print lines and their components are defined and configured in the Definitions view.
When a new selection is made from the menu, a warning message displays informing
you that a printer restart is required in order to change the active print line. If you select
Yes, the CiPress restarts and when the restart sequence is complete, the newly-selected
print line displays on the Print Line menu and in the print line components display. In
addition, an event is logged in the Event Log Table in the Run view. If you select No in
response to the warning message and opt not to change the printer, the message closes
and the Print Line menu reverts to its previous print line selection.
Note
The Print Line menu is available only when the system is offline and cycled down.
Print line components display
This status area depicts icons, connected like puzzle pieces, of each inline device in the
currently-selected print line. The display provides the following information:
• A visual indication of the selected print line.
• A visual indication of the CiPress (one or two, depending on the configuration),
pre-processors, and post-processors represented by icons / puzzle pieces in the line
where each icon bears the component name.
