The selection appears on the Mark Enablement menu.
10. Select OK.
Note
A red asterisk appears on the Marks menu to indicate a mark is being added. This
asterisk remains in place until you save the new mark.
11. When you are finished setting values, select the Save icon.
The Save Mark Definition window opens.
12. Select the Enter Name field.
The Value window opens.
13. Type or select the name for the new mark definition.
Note
The name of the new mark definition can be a maximum of 16 characters including
spaces. Remember to use a descriptive name that will be understood by all operators.
14. Select Enter.
The Save Mark Definition window displays the new mark name in the Enter Name
field.
15. Select OK.
The new mark name appears on the Marks menu and the red asterisk is removed.
16. To verify that the new mark definition is available to add to a print line, select the
Paper Path sub-tab and select the Marks menu.
The new mark appears in the list of marks.

Editing a Print Line Mark Definition

You must be an Advanced Operator or a Key Operator to make changes to a print line
mark definition.
1. In the Definitions view, select the Print Line tab and then the Marks sub-tab.
2. On the Marks menu, select the arrow to display the list of marks.
3. Select the mark you want to edit.
The mark name appears on the Marks menu.
4. Select the row of mark values you want to edit.
The Edit button at the bottom of the window becomes available.
5. Select the Edit button.
The Edit Mark window opens.
