9.2 Commissioning Cooling Components

Prerequisites

The chiller has been powered on.

Preparations

Tools: step ladder, clamp meter

Documents: documents delivered with the chiller, power supply and distribution system

diagram, cooling device layout diagram, chiller initial configuration table

Skill requirement: cooling engineer

Procedure

Step 1 Start the chiller pumps on the controller in the electric control box of chiller 1. For details, see

the delivered chiller documents.

Step 2 Check whether the controller displays any alarms.

If an alarm is displayed, clear the alarm by following instructions in documents delivered with

the chiller before continuing the commissioning.

Step 3 Verify the initial configurations of the chiller by referring to the chiller initial configuration

table.

UPS2000-Gs can work in single or parallel mode. Check the initial configurations against

the single or parallel initial configuration table based on the actual situation.
