8.1 Commissioning the UPS

8.1.1 Commissioning the ATS On the 02311FTE-002 and
02311FTC-001 Systems
Context
Perform system commissioning and power-on strictly according to the system manual and
ATS instructions. For any changes in operations and parameters, consult Huawei engineers.
Otherwise, system commissioning or power-on may fail, or even the cabinet is damaged.
Procedure
Step 1 Switch on all SPD circuit breakers in the integrated UPS.
Step 2 Switch on the upstream power input circuit breaker for the integrated UPS to power on the
UPS cabinet. If the Power indicator in the upper part of the integrated UPS lights up, the UPS
cabinet is powered on properly.
Step 3 Turn on the circuit breakers of the ATS operation mechanism (Q1 and Q2 in the left lower
part at the rear of the cabinet) to power on the ATS operation mechanism.
Step 4 Check whether the controller has alarms. If an alarm exists, rectify the fault first.
Step 5 Press the locking latch on the ATS panel, pull out the handle, and insert it into the slot.
Step 6 Check the ATS Motor/Manual selection lever, and flip it to the Motor mode.
Step 7 Check the AC input and configuration status of the ATS.
After the AC input is normal, the ATS controller starts. Check and set ATS parameters based
on the AC input parameters.
