9.1.3 (Optional) Commissioning the UPS2000-G

Prerequisites
Preparations
Tool: Phillips screwdriver
Documents: documents delivered with the UPS2000-G, power supply and distribution system
diagram, power supply and distribution component layout, UPS2000-G single system initial
configuration table, UPS2000-G parallel system initial configuration table
Skill requirement: power distribution system engineer
Procedure
Step 1 Switch on the input power circuit breaker of the UPS2000-G to power on the UPS2000-G.
If the output circuit breaker cannot be switched on within 5 minutes after the UPS2000-G
input power circuit breaker has been switched on, disconnect the input power circuit breaker.
Otherwise, the UPS2000-G will enter the protection mode automatically.
Step 2 Start the UPS2000-G and verify the initial configurations.
Step 3 Enter the user name and password to enter the operation screen, and verify that initial
parameter settings are consistent with the initial configuration table.
Issue 02 (2017-01-10)
The upstream PDC of the UPS2000-G has been powered on.
Battery packs or batteries have been installed and connected, and the installation has
been verified.
For the diagrams and tables, see the initial configuration parameter manual for the solution in use.
If an alarm is generated after the power-on, rectify the fault before continuing the
power-on commissioning.
During the power-on commissioning, you are not allowed to switch on the bypass circuit
breaker for the UPS2000-G.
During the UPS2000-G power-on commissioning, you are not allowed to modify the
UPS2000-G initial configurations unless you are authorized by onsite Huawei engineers.
