Function description
Setting the parameters
The brake function must be enabled in the commissioning software via the Brake option
("Motor" window).
Timing diagram
The timing diagram shows the relationship between the ENABLE signals, the speed set-
point, the speed and the braking power, in terms of time and function. All times can be set
via parameters. The times in the timing diagram are default values.

CAUTION!
Inadequate supply voltage to the motor holding brake can result in a haz-
ardous situation, leading to serious injury and death. The control of the mo-
tor holding brake is not safety-related.
Please consider the power loss due to cable runs and transition resistances!
Measure the voltage at the brake input!
Test the function of the brakes by releasing and applying the brake.
