Spacer installation (cloth media)

Depending on the media you use and the printing method,
set the spacer type (attached two types).
● About each spacer
Ink receiving spacer
● When printing on the fabric (when over
print is not performed)
Use ink receiving spacer.
● When printing on the fabric (when over
print is performed)
Use the ink receiving spacer.
● When you perform Drop Position correct
Use the adjusting spacer. (
• For drop position correction with the Tx300P-1800
MkII, use the platen for paper.((
Attaching the paper(transfer paper) platen.)
When you perform over printing
When you perform over printing, set the fabric media after
performing the work below:
For "Setting the Media Detection" in machine setup, set
"MANUAL" for the detection method (
the media width by referring to P.2-27 "Setting of the
manual media width setting".
Reference for attaching ink receiving spacer / fabric edge spacer
• Arrange ink receiving spacers so that they cover an area wider than the width of the image to be printed.
• Adjust the number of spacers so that they are apart from right and left edges of the image by 10 mm and more.
• To perform over printing, arrange ink receiving spacers so that they cover an area wider than the media width.
Make the amount of over print
be 20 mm and less.

To perform normal printing, arrange ink receiving spacers from side to side.
(Leave a space, if inevitable, in the middle.)
To perform over print, arrange ink receiving spacers so that there is no space
left between them.
Chapter 2 Basic Operation
• When you performed over printing, at detecting
the media after setting it, the media width input
screen is displayed. At this time, input the set
media width, and press the [ENTER].

When printing, to prevent media from staining due to ink
mist, be sure to set the ink receiving spacer.
Move the fabric retainer to the left and the

right.
Attach the ink receiving spacer.

• The size of the ink receiving spacer is W: 100
mm.
Depending on the width of the image to be
printed, adjust the number of ink receiving
spacers to attach.
