Setting the torque limiter (cloth
media)
The tension roller have the torque limiter. By adjusting the
torque limiter, you can change the rotating strengthen of
the roller. (At the factory, the torque limiter was set to the
strongest.)
If you cannot adjust media feeding by counter weight
adjustment, adjust torque limiter.
• Clockwise turn :
Increases torque (a thicker media)
• Counterclockwise turn :
Decreases torque (For light media)

• When the torque limiter is adjusted too weak ;
The media can not be taken up firmly.
• When the torque limiter is adjusted too strong ;
The slack may occur depending on the media and
cause influence on the image quality.
• When the media is stretched tight, if tension
roller runs without set ;
The level of torque limiter is adjusted too high.
Reduce the level of torque limiter or increase the
weight of tension bar.

Mounting the fabric roller
When printing on a loose fabric, the ink remained on the
back of the fabric may attach to the tension roller, and the
ink may stain the fabric media.
With the fabric roller mounted, the stain of the fabric
media can be avoided by the roller removing the attached
ink to the tension roller.
• Fabric is not wrapped around the fabric roller
before shipping. Prepare the well-absorbed fabric
with the following size.
• Material:Cotton sheeting, cotton broardcloth or the
like
• Size:195 cm x 70 cm
Remove the fabric roller.

• The fabric roller is at the under of the tension
roller.

Wrap a fabric around the fabric roller.

• As shown on the bellow, fit a fabric with the roller.
(1) Secure the fabric and the roller with an adhesive
tape.
