Serial Data or External Edge
Usage:
Serial Data or External Edge is seldom used but can be useful in an
application that primarily uses an external sensing device but occasion-
ally needs to be manually triggered. An auxiliary terminal can be con-
nected to the aux port so the user can send the serial trigger character
through the reader to the host.
Definition:
In this mode the reader accepts either a serial ASCII character or an
external trigger pulse to start the read cycle.
