Guard Bar
Usage:
Useful when I–2/5 multisymbols are enabled to prevent false data out-
put. This typically occurs with highly tilted or skewed symbols.
Definition:
A guard bar is a heavy bar, at least 2 times the width of the wide bar, sur-
rounding the printed I–2/5 symbol and helping to prevent false reads.

Range Mode Status
Usage:
Useful in applications where symbol lengths may vary.
Definition:
Allows user the option to define a minimum and maximum symbol length
range for I–2/5.

Options:
0 = Disabled
When enabled, the symbol length range is defined by the values set in Symbol Length
#1 and Symbol Length #2.
For example, if the symbol lengths are defined as 10 and 6, a symbol of length 6, 8, or
10 will qualify as candidates for I–2/5.
Note: Either length (1 or 2) can qualify as the minimum or maximum.
