 The valid value of MTU is from 500 to 1500.
 If the DHCP server is available, you can check the checkbox of Enable DHCP to
automatically obtain an IP address and other network settings from that server.
 If DHCP is enabled, you can check the checkbox of Enable DNS DHCP or uncheck
it and edit the Preferred DNS Server and Alternate DNS Server.
Step 3 After having configured the general settings, click the Apply button to save the
settings.

12.2 Configuring the Advanced Settings

12.2.1 Configuring the PPPoE Settings

The DVR also allows access by Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE).
Step 1 Go to Menu > Configuration > Network > PPPoE.
Step 2 Check the Enable PPPoE checkbox to enable this feature.
Step 3 Enter User Name and Password for PPPoE access.
Note:
The User Name and Password should be assigned by your ISP.
Step 4 Click the Apply button to save the settings.
Step 5 After successful settings, the system asks you to reboot the device to enable the
new settings, and the PPPoE dial-up is automatically connected after reboot.
You can go to Menu > Maintenance > System Info > Network interface to view the
status of PPPoE connection.
