8.3 Copying data from LOGO! to the card
Copying data from LOGO! 0BA7 to the SD card automatically
LOGO!Soft Comfort V7.0 provides an option for automatically copying the circuit program to
the SD card when transferring the circuit program to LOGO! 0BA7. This option is available in
the dialog for PC->LOGO! transfer. If you select this option, the circuit program is transferred
to LOGO! 0BA7 and then automatically copied from LOGO! 0BA7 to the SD card.
Note
To successfully copy the circuit program from LOGO! 0BA7 to the SD card, make sure that
the free memory space available on the SD card is at least 65 Kbytes.
Generating the data log on the SD card
If your circuit program in LOGO! 0BA7 includes a Data Log function block configured from
LOGO!Soft Comfort, the data log can be saved in your LOGO! or on the SD card. If there is
an SD card inserted into the slot of your LOGO! 0BA7, when LOGO! changes from STOP to
RUN, it attempts to copy the data log to the SD card; otherwise, the data log is saved in
LOGO!. At every STOP to RUN transition, LOGO! determines the destination of the data log
storage.
If the data log is copied to the SD card, it is saved by default as .CSV file format, which you
can then open from a PC. Each line in the .CSV file includes a time stamp, the function block
number and the actual values recorded.
Note
When LOGO! with an inserted SD card is in STOP mode, you can upload the most recent
data log file on the SD card to LOGO!Soft Comfort using a transfer menu command in
LOGO!Soft Comfort. For more information about the data log uploading command, refer to
the online help for LOGO!Soft Comfort.
