6-2-15. Replacement of panel control circuit board

In the case that the panel control circuit board is replaced, the firmware for using the GTX-4 Service Tool needs to be
readjusted.
<IMPORTANT>

The FPC of the LCD panel is vulnerable and the surface attached to the LCD panel's glass plate is also likely to peel off, so
take care not to apply stress as much as possible in performing the following works.
Disassembly
(1) With reference to "6-2-11. Preparation for replacement of electric components inside panel unit", remove the panel
unit from the main unit to detach the main circuit board plate.
(2) Disconnect the FFC and two harnesses from the panel circuit board.
(3) Unhook the latches of the three resin spacers fixing the circuit board to the extend that the circuit board cannot be
completely detached.

(4) While taking care not to apply stress to the LCD panel's FPC, remove the two screws of the panel control circuit
board plate in a posture as shown in the photo below to detach it.
