6-2-19. Replacement of carriage circuit board

In the case that the power is turned on, press the power switch to turn off the power.
Unplug the power cord from the main unit and start the work after five or more minutes have passed.
Disassembly
(1)
With reference to steps (1) and (2) described within "6-2-6. Replacement of power circuit board plate assy", detach
cover PB and cover DBR.
(2)
With reference to step (7) described within "6-2-10. Replacement of panel main unit assy", remove mist fan cover
and cover UB.
(3)
With reference to "6-2-4. Replacement of main circuit board", detach the panel-side cover.
(4)
With reference to "6-2-4-1. How to connect or disconnect FFC connector / Disconnecting FFC connector",
disconnect the three FFCs from the main circuit board.
(5)
Unhook the latch of the core on the rear of the main circuit board plate and open the core to take out the three
FFCs.
<TIPS>
If the core latch cannot be unhooked, straighten the bent portion of FFC on the front side of the core and pull out FFC
toward the rear side, rather than unhooking the latch.
(6)
Unhook the latches of the seven FFC clamps located on the right inside the main unit to disconnect the FFC.
