Electric shocks
The terminals of a large capacitor of the power unit is applied over 400 V during power distribution, so that even after
turning off the power, 5 or more minutes are required until the electricity here is completely discharged.
And, even after turning off the power, commercial power voltage is always applied to the power circuit board, and
primary-side circuit and heat sink of the power unit.
When conducting any work which may make you to touch electric components built in the main unit, turn off the power
and wait 5 or more minutes before conducting such work.
And, in order to prevent electric shocks, the following works must be conducted after unplugging the power cord.
・ Opening and closing of covers
・ Plugging and unplugging of connectors of electric components
・ Attaching and detaching of electric components
・ Power distribution check, measurement of resistance value, etc.
Among the inspection items include measurements performed with the power turned on while opening the covers.
In such works, take care not to touch the portions other than those to be measured.
Injuries
When detaching or attaching the units and electric components and connecting or disconnecting the connectors, be
sure to use protective gloves to protect you from being injured by metal parts including heat sink or frame.
Cautions
Before starting the operation check after replacement works, be sure to recheck to see if respective parts are properly
attached and connectors are properly inserted.
Improper or insufficient attaching and connecting of the connectors lead to functional abnormality of this device, which
may cause serious accidents including injury by running out of control, fire or electric shocks due to breakage or burning
of circuit boards.
Take care so that the ink and cleaning solution do not attach to respective circuit boards, harness, and connectors.
These liquids of electric conductivity may lead to functional abnormality of this device if attached to the circuit boards or
connector circuits.
CAUTION
RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE.
DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION
RISQUE D'EXPLOSION SI LA BATTERIE EST REMPLACÉE PAR UN TYPE DE
BATTERIE INCORRECT.
DISPERSER LES BATTERIES USAGÉES CONFORMÉMENT AUX INSTRUCTIONS.
CAUTION
