Configuration procedure

Configure the IP addresses for devices as shown in

Configure a static route on Device A.

The output shows that Device A can reach Device B but cannot reach Device C. An error has
occurred on the connection between Device B and Device C.

To troubleshoot the problem, execute the following commands on Device A and Device C:
Use the debugging ip icmp command to verify that they have sent and received the
correct ICMP packets.
Use the display ip routing-table command to verify that they have a route to each other.

The device supports debugging for the majority of protocols and features and provides debugging
information to help users diagnose errors.
