After assigning the well types on the plate, select the wells, which all should be named the same (e.g., all
wells that contain the same sample or treatment set). Once the wells are selected, touch the Name text box
and enter the name that should be applied to all of the selected wells (Figure 49).
Note: To be considered a complete data set, all Known wells within a given treatment set or standard curve
set must have the same name. For example, if naming the Known wells for a standard curve, use an identical
name ("Standard", "Stand", "Known"). For Unknown wells, all wells of the same sample (regardless of
dilution factor) should have the same name even if they are not replicates of one another. The identical
names ensure the software applies the same analysis function to the wells.
