3.
Once the protocol is finished, results are shown in a heat map format to indicate wells with higher or lower
signals in comparison to the entire plate (Figure 35). The software automatically scales the color selection,
assigning the highest values red and the lowest values blue, along a gradient (Figure 36). To turn off the heat
mapping of the data, touch the small plate map button at the top right side of the information bar above the
data plate map. Touch the ellipsis to the left of the small plate map button to enter notes that will appear in
the information bar.

Within the plate map, each individual sample may be viewed by tapping the well of interest
(Figure 37). If a Ratiometric protocol was performed the ratio of the Acceptor/Donor is also
calculated and displayed. For Absorbance measurements, both the Reference wavelength value and
Experimental wavelength value are reported. Reference values are subtracted from the Experimental
values, and this calculation is also reported in the result file.
Kinetic results display a graphical representation of the data during the course of the kinetics read
(Figure 38). Data are automatically scaled based on the results within each well. Zoom in to view the
axis for each well as desired. Users can use touch-screen gestures to zoom in or out, or to pan the well
map.
