5-1-5. Adding sections

<Example: If adding a new section at the 5th stitch in section 2>
1 Select the position for adding the section.
2 Set the tension.
3 Add the section.
Final stitch
Example: Set the tension to "150".
KE-430HX/KE-430HS, BE-438HX/BE-438HS
Carry out steps 1 to 3 in "5-1-2. Switching to pattern
editing mode" to switch to pattern editing mode.
Press the needle movement change key
to move the work clamp/button clamp to the desired
position.
* To add a section, move to anywhere other than the
start of the section.
Press the tension change keys [
the tension (0 to 300) to be used in the newly-added
section.

To confirm the addition, press the add section key
(2).
・ A new section with the selected tension will be added
from the current needle position. The section
numbers for all subsequent sections will be
incremented by 1 as a result.

If you press the needle movement change key [
[ ] before pressing the add section key, the adding of
the new section will be canceled, and the displayed
tension value will return to the value which was displayed
before it was changed.
If you would like to end pattern editing without adding
any sections, press the back key
or the home key
