Error status #9 Error code appears on the display when the foot switch is depressed.
Probable causes
1. If the work clamp pulse motor
does not operate and "E300" is
displayed, there is a malfunction of
the power supply motor PCB.
2. If the work clamp pulse motor
does not move and "E300" is
displayed, there is a malfunction of
the main PCB.
3. If the work clamp pulse motor
moves slightly and "E300" is
displayed, there is a malfunction of
the encoder.
4. If the work clamp pulse motor
does not move and "E300" is
displayed, there is a malfunction of
the pulse motor and cord.
Check/ repair/ adjust
Disconnect connector P2 (POWER) from the
power supply motor PCB, and then turn on the
power switch and check LD1 (red) on the power
supply motor PCB.
OK if illuminated.
After checking, turn off the power switch, wait for
five minutes or more, and then insert connector
P2 (POWER) into the power supply motor PCB.
a. With LD1 (red) on the main PCB unlit,
disconnect connector P22 (POWER) from the
main PCB, and check the continuity between
terminals 1-3 of P22.
OK if  ohms.
b. Disconnect the relay connector (black and
connected
connecting the pulse motor to the main PCB,
and check the continuity between terminals
2-3 and 5-6 of the connector.
OK if  ohms.
c. Insert P22 and the black relay connector for
connecting the pulse motor connection to the
main PCB, turn on the power switch and then
check LD1 (red) on the power supply motor
PCB.
OK if illuminated.
If LD1 is illuminated during the check in step 1
in #9 but it does not illuminate when the black
relay connector for connecting the pulse motor
and P22 are connected, there is a malfunction
of the main PCB.
d. Check LD1 (red) on the main PCB.
OK if illuminated.

a. Check that connector P6 (P-ENC) is inserted
into the main PCB and that the color matches.
b. Check the encoder input while referring to
"4-4. Checking input".
a. Disconnect the relay connector (black and
connected
connecting the pulse motor to the main PCB,
and measure
terminals 2-3 and 5-6 of the cord connector.
OK if 1.89-2.3 ohms (2.1 ohms +/- 10%).
b. If step a. (above) is OK, there is a malfunction
of the main PCB.
