5-18-2. Preparation for reading/writing data

1 First connect the USB memory to the sewing machine.
NOTE:
・ Make sure the USB memory is facing the correct way.
・ Always be sure to keep the cover closed except when inserting and removing USB devices. If this is not done,
dust may get inside and cause problems with operation.
Turn on the power switch.

The additional sewing data that can be used with this sewing machine is data that has been created for KE-430H/BE-438H
models.
Touch the menu key
Touch "Read/Write data" in the menu to switch to the read/write data
screen.
* Some multi card readers may not be recognized.
* If there is no USB memory connected at this time, the
message "USB memory is not connected or inserted." will be
displayed.
1. The currently-selected read/write item and illustration (1) are
displayed, so press the
item.
2. Press the OK key

"3" and "4", use the

The contents of items 3 to 8 are read from the USB memory.
