14. ELECTRIC MECHANISM
Error status #23 Error code is displayed after the sewing machine operates (sewing program is sewn several times).
Probable causes
1. If "E150" is displayed after the
sewing machine operates,
motor is abnormally overheating.
Error status #24 USB memory read/write mode cannot be activated.
Probable causes
1. If "E420" is displayed, the USB
memory is incorrectly inserted.
2. If "E420" is displayed, the USB
memory is incorrectly formatted.
3. Malfunction of USB memory
4. Malfunction of operation panel

Check/ repair/ adjust
a. Turn off the power and let the motor stand for
the 30 minutes or more.
b. Turn the power back on, and OK if operation
is normal.
c. If the area around the motor is not hot, carry
out steps 1 to 5 in #18.
* Avoid repeated sewing of sewing data that
contains 15 stitches or less.
Check/ repair/ adjust
a. Check the direction of insertion of the USB
memory.
b. Check the insertion of the USB memory.

Check the format of the USB memory.
Use a PC to check if the contents of the USB
memory can be read.
