or 15-bit + sign bipolar resolu-
tion. Bipolar analog signals are
converted into 32768 counts
ranging from 0 to 32767 (2
For example, with a –156mV to
156mV signal range, 156mV
would be 32767. The bipolar
ranges utilize a sign bit to pro-
vide 16-bit resolution. A value of
32767 can represent the upper
limit of either side of the range.
Use the sign bit to determine
negative values.
