Resolution is defined as
resolution =
where FWHM is Full Width Half Maximum of the peak. Resolution for the
peak at 614 Da of heptacosa should be equal to or more than 7000 counts per
second on the GCT Premier.
To tune for best resolution adjust the pusher bias and grid 2 parameters
which are found on the Engineers tab.
Note: When using continuum mode, the resolution is shown above the peak
display. The resolution shown on the peak display is the resolution of the base
peak, even when the base peak is not visible in the peak display window.
