Calibrating the instrument in CI- mode

The procedure for calibrating in CI- mode is similar to the procedure for
calibrating in CI+ mode except use heptacosa as the reference sample with a
small amount of CI gas, heptaneg.ref as the reference file and acquire over a
mass range up to 700 Da.

The procedure for calibrating in FI and FD mode is explained in detail in
Chapter 9 FI/FD Operation.
