Description
The current of the DCI probe.

Tip:
For safety reasons, the current is set to 0
at the start of an acquisition. Once the acqui-
sition has started, you can manually ramp the
probe current using this control.

Sets the temperature of the GC interface. A
typical value is 250 °C. The parameter should
normally be more than or equal to the
maximum temperature of the GC oven ramp
(to avoid chromatographic problems due to
sample condensing in the GC-Re entrant).
Tip:
If the readback value is 503, the GC
re-entrant cable is not connected.
Sets the temperature of the reference reser-
voir. A typical value is 40 to 50 °C, which
prevents condensation within the reservoir
and speeds the removal of reference material
when changing ionization mode.
Note:
If the readback value is 503, the refer-
ence reservoir cable is not connected.
Sets the temperature for the transfer line,
which runs from the reference reservoir to the
ion source. A typical value is 100 to 150 °C,
which minimizes condensation of the refer-
ence material.
If the readback value is 503, the reference
Tip:
reservoir cable has not been connected.
When selected, turns on the CI gas.
Allows the CI gas to be purged.
Ensure that the CI gas is closed off
Caution:
after the regulator before purging.
