SHOW PLATFORM

show platform
Overview
This command displays the settings configured by using the platform commands.
show platform
Syntax
Mode
Privileged Exec
Usage
This command displays the settings in the running config. For changes in some of
these settings to take effect, the device must be rebooted with the new settings in
the startup config.
Example
To check the settings configured with platform commands on the device, use the
following command:

Description
The MAC VLAN hash-key-generating algorithm (set with
the
platform mac-vlan-hashing-algorithm
default algorithm is crc32l. The algorithm may need to be
changed in rare circumstances in which hash collisions
occur.
The L3 VLAN hash-key-generating algorithm (set with the
platform l3-vlan-hashing-algorithm
default algorithm is crc32l. The algorithm may need to be
changed in rare circumstances in which hash collisions
occur.
Whether the stop-unreg-mc-flooding feature is on or off
(set with the
platform stop-unreg-mc-flooding
command). This feature prevents flooding of unregistered
multicast packets in the occasional situations in which
IGMP snooping does not prevent it.
The value of the TPID set in the Ethernet type field when a
frame has a double VLAN tag.
