To update your system software to version 8.5:

Before you upgrade or downgrade your system, you should always back up your
settings and recordings. Polycom is not liable to any user data loss during these
operations.
1 Go to Admin > System Upgrade.
Read the terms of the license and agree to them.

Click Open and select version 8.5 software upgrade package, then click

Upload.
4 When asked to confirm the action, click Yes.
The system uploads the package and performs the upgrade automatically.
This may take several minutes.
Upon the completion of the upload, the system restarts to apply changes.

6 After reboot, please delete all temporary IE files, close and restart Internet
Explorer.
Enter your administrator User ID and Password and then click Log In.

To confirm that the system is upgraded, check the software version on the
Product Activation page.
After the upgrade, you need to activate the system using an activation key
corresponding to the upgrade pack version. Different software upgrade
pack versions may require different activation keys.

To downgrade your system software:

Before you downgrade your system, you should always back up your settings and
recordings. Polycom is not liable to any user data loss during these operations.
Go to Admin > System Upgrade.
