Restart and Shutdown

Polycom, Inc.
To set disk warning email notification for the Polycom RSS 4000 system:
Go to Admin > Disk Warning.

Select Email Notification, choose the frequency and enter one or more

email address. (Use semicolons (;) as separator).

Click Update.
You can change the system logging strategy, configure warning limit, and
enable remote logging.
To configure the log settings:

Go to Admin > Log Settings.
Configure the following settings:

Logger Level
Log Warning Capacity
Enable SysLog
You can shut down or restart your system, or clean the system data and restore
it to the factory default configuration.
Before unplugging the system, you need to shut it off using the Shutdown page to turn
it off.
To restart or shut down your system:
Go to Admin > Restart/Shut Down.

Description
Specify the system logging level, which decides to what level
system events should be written into the rss_admin.log file.
Info – logs all non-debug messages.
Debug – logs all messages.
Error – logs the fewest number of messages.
Specify the percentage of log file capacity used at which the
system displays a warning on the dashboard.
Specify whether to integrate the system with a syslog server
for log collection and management. When a syslog sever is
configured, the system forwards its log messages to the
server automatically.
