For live streaming, it detects whether the following parameters are available:
external server's IP address and port, application name and publishing point name,
user name and password.
•
For Video on Demand, it detects whether the following parameters are available: IP
address and port, Wowza Media Server's application name, and MS server's
publishing point.
The Polycom RSS 4000 system supports both IPv4 and IPv6 network
communications. You can configure parameters to be used for network
communication, including system IP address, DNS server, NAT server and
speed/duplex modes for LAN ports.
The Polycom RSS 4000 system supports IPv6 system management, IPv6 H.323
recording and streaming, it doesn't support IPv6 SIP recording.
