Active Directory

The Polycom RSS 4000 system supports integration with a single Active
Directory server.
After the integration, users in the Active Directory domain can access the
Admin UI of the Polycom RSS 4000 system directly as ordinary users without
needing to be registered directly in the Polycom RSS 4000 system user
database.
To configure an Active Directory server:
1 Go to System Config > Service Settings > Active Directory.
Configure the following settings:

System Configuration
Specify the number of failed
PIN inputs allowed before the
system forces the user
account to log out.
Default: 0 (normal mode), 3
(MS mode).
States the minimum number
of characters required for a
PIN code.
Default: 9 characters (MS
mode).
States the maximum number
of characters required for a
PIN code.
Default: 16 characters (MS
mode).
