Meaning Suggested Cause/Action

Replace the FCU.

Try adjusting the tx level and/or cable equalizer
settings.

The other end may have disconnected, or it may be
defective; try calling another machine.

If the rx signal level is too low, there may be a line
problem.
Cross reference
See error code 0-08.
If the [Stop] key was not pressed and this error keeps
occurring, replace the operation panel or the operation
panel drive board.

Check the line connection.

Replace the FCU.

Check for line problems.

Try calling another fax machine.

Try adjusting the reconstruction time for the first line
and/or rx cable equalizer setting.
