Remove the oil seaL
Remove the fork bolt.
Slide the shjft fork to release its spring pin from the
spring ends.
Release the fork spring from the spring pin on the
stopper arm.
Remove the following :
- arm bolt and washer
- stopper arm
- fork spring
- shift fork
- lock arm shaft
- oil seal
Check the shift fork claws for wear or damage.
Check the arm shaft and stopper arm for deforma-
tion or damage.
Check the spring for fatigue or damage.
