TURNING RADIUS INSPECTION
Raise
the vehicle off
the
ground (page
1-48)
.
Set the
turning
radius gauges
beneath the front
wheels
and
place boards
(that are the
same
height
as the
rad
ius gauge)
under
th
e
rear
wheels,
then
lower
the
vehicle.
Apply the
parking brake.
Set
the drive
mode
selector lever
to the 2WD
posi-
tion to
free the
differential
lock.
Turn the
wheels left and
right
with
no foot
brake
applied, and
measure the turning
radius angle of
both
wheels.
