Check the seal ring on the stator shaft for deteriora-
tion, waar or damage.
Assemble the stator shaft and inner colla r.
Hold the inner collar and turn the stator shaft.
The shaft should turn counterclockwise smoothly
and should not tu rn clockwise.
TORQUE CONVERTER INSTALLATION
Lubricate the bearings, gear teeth and sprag clutch.
