SUB· TRANSMISSION/GEARSHIFT LINKAGE
Apply engine oil to the gear teeth and set the output
driven gear into the crankcase.
Insert the output shaft through the driven gear and
install it into the crankcase.
Install the washer.
Apply engine oil to the bearings, gear teeth and slid-
ing areas.
Assemble the countershaft.

Install the countershaft assembly by engaging the r;"",,",
splines.
Apply engine oil to the fork shaft outer surface.
Before Installation.
Install the shift fork into the gear shifter groove and
be sure that the
drum guide groove w ith the mark side facing out.
