7. Release the fan pack by pulling the magnetic latch located inside of the light engine
compartment, at the top of the fan pack.
8. Remove the six screws to remove the light engine intake fan duct.
9. Remove the required fan(s) by removing their respective rubber isolators.
10. To re-install, make sure the label side faces into the projector, and follow these steps in
reverse order.
Replacing the light engine fan (fan # and15)
Estimated replacement time: 14 minutes
1. Remove the light engine fan pack (fan #5, 6, and 8) (on page 48).
2. Disconnect the required fan harnesses (J39) from the secondary EVB board.
3. Remove two screws securing the fan bracket.
