4. Remove the screws securing the ball mount to the rear cover.
5. Keep hardware as the replacement TPC does not come with mounting hardware.
6. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.

Removing the projector shroud (optional)

The lens side shroud must be removed to gain access to the lens. The other shroud must be removed
when connecting the AC power cord into the front face of the projector.
Estimated replacement time: 2 minutes
Warning! Failure to comply with the following could result in death or serious injury.
Do not install the shroud for overhead installations.
1. Use finger pressure to push down on the shroud clips located at the top and bottom of the
shroud as shown by the arrows.
2. Carefully slide the shroud sideways and forward away from the lens mount and lens.
3. Place the shroud covers on a clean surface to prevent scratches.
4. To re-install, follow these steps in reverse order.

Removing the front top cover

The front top cover provides access to the integrator assembly, the cold mirror, and various other
components.
Estimated replacement time: 1 minute
1. Shut down the projector (on page 22).
2. Remove two screws from front top cover using 6mm hex key.
