Preparing the lamp power supply for testing
You must prepare the lamp power supply (LPS) before completing the ground continuity and dielectric
strength (hi-post) tests.
1. Disconnect the LPS from its power source.
2. Remove the side cover from the LPS:
a) Loose the bottom three screws.
b) Remove the top three screws.
c) Lift and remove the side cover.
3. Disconnect the two DC output cables from the LPS (see E and F in the diagram).
