3. To install the option card(s), repeat these steps in reverse order.

Replacing the primary environmental board

Estimated replacement time: 12 minutes
1. Remove the front top lid.
2. Remove the light engine lid.
3. Remove the fan pack assembly.
4. Disconnect the five harnesses from the environmental board (EVB).
5. Loosen the captive thumbscrew securing the EVB in place.
6. Remove the EVB.
7. To install the primary EVB, repeat these steps in reverse order.

Replacing the secondary environmental board

Estimated replacement time: 8 minutes
1. Remove the front top lid (on page 40).
2. Remove the light engine lid (on page 41).
3. Disconnect the nine harnesses from the secondary environmental board (EVB2).
4. Loosen the thumbscrew securing the secondary EVB2 in place.
