Program *12 Overview

This program assigns system times for disconnecting calls, pause times, recall times, auto
attendant, DISA, Call Forward External and DTMF receiving decoding time.

Code 1: Disconnect Timer On Tie Lines

If an incoming DISA call routes over a Tie Line and the call is not answered by the distant
end within a certain period of time the DISA caller will be cut off. The time period before cut
off is determined by the setting selected in this program.

Code 2: Delay Dialling Timer

This timer inserts a pause before any dialled information is sent to a Tie Line, this pause
allows the distant end time to prepare for the receipt of dialled digits.

Code 7: Ringing Time On DISA Lines

When the system receives an incoming DISA call and the caller dials an extension, the call
will only ring at that extension for a predetermined period of time. That period of time is
determined by this program. If the caller wished to try another extension on hearing ringing
or busy they could press the * button on their telephone to try another extension. The * button
must be pressed before timer has elapsed.

Code 8: Automatic Release Timer (TIE Lines Only)

If a DISA call or an exchange line call is transferred over a TIE Line, there is a possibility of
lock-up. To prevent this the Automatic Disconnect Timer, when set, will forcibly disconnect
the call. The options are: No disconnection; Disconnection after 30 minutes, or; Disconnect
after 60 minutes.
