Program 77-1 Peripheral Options (Door Phones) PIOU/PIOUS/IMDU/PEPU

Program 77-1 Overview

This program performs the following functions:
Programs door lock relays
Assigns door phones/lock control units
Enables IMDU built-in maintenance modems
Enables DK Admin Communications Protocol
Enables/disables ring tone to external paging when system is in Night mode
Assigns a relay to operate with door lock function or external page for mute control
Assigns a relay to operate in one of two Night Transfer modes
Assigns a relay to operate in one of two applications
LED 20: Door Lock Time
The Door Lock Relay contact may be programmed to operate for either three or six seconds
(applies to PIOU, PIOUS, PEPU, DDCB, and HDCB door lock controls).
LEDs 16~18: Port Number/Door Phone/Lock Control Units
Door phone/lock existence is defined by this program. The door lock option is set via
Program 77-2.
Door phone/lock controllers (DDCBs and/or HDCBs) can only exist on Port 004, and
can only be installed on Circuit 5 of a PDKU or PEKU. PDKUs support DDCBs, but
not HDCBs. PEKUs can support HDCBs, but not DDCBs. After assignment of a DDCB
or HDCB, door phone numbers (#151~#159, #161~#163) effectively replace the station
number assignment in Program 04.
The first DDCB is always Port 004 on the Base KSU Digital Station Card. The port
number of the second and third DDCB/HDCB's will depend on the configuration of the
Base KSU (i.e. TBSU (NT) or KSTU installed).
Up to three DDCBs/HDCBs can be installed in a DK40. They must be assigned a
PDKU or PEKU port number to operate (DDCB to PDKU and HDCB to PEKU.

LED 14: IMDU Modem
This program enables the DK40 built-in maintenance modem function: IMDU.
Turn LED 14 ON if the optional PIOU or PIOUS has Remote Maintenance from the
IMDU modem subassembly. If an IMDU is installed on a DK40 PIOU or PIOUS, it can
be accessed by dialling station #19 (unless the access code prefix has been changed with
Program 05).

LED 10: DK Admin
Enables the system to Upload/Download the CTU RAM data base using Toshiba DK Admin
