Monitoring Machine Operation Status and Signal Waveforms
To monitor waveforms, use the SigmaWin+ trace function or a measuring instrument, such as a
memory recorder.
The monitoring function that is shaded in the following block diagram was added to SERVO-
PACKs for tracking applications.
• Monitoring the Position Deviation after the Position Reference Filter
Input

To use the SigmaWin+ to monitor the position deviation after the position reference filter, select
the following signal name on the Data Tab Page in the Trace Setup Dialog Box. To display the
Trace Setup Dialog Box, click the Setup Button on the Trace Dialog Box.
Position Deviation after Position Reference Filter
To use a measuring instrument to monitor the position deviation after the position reference fil-
ter, set Pn006 or Pn007 (Analog Monitor 1/2 Signal Selection) as given in the following table.
