6.3 Access options over PROFINET IO
X308-2M slot functions
the IE switch X308-2M has 3 slots. The fixed slots are assigned to slot 0. The other slots,
each with 2 ports, are assigned to slot 1 and slot 2.
Functions that cannot be assigned uniquely to a port are assigned to the Device Access
Point (slot 0).

The IE Switch XR324-12M has several slots (slot 1 - slot 12) each with 2 ports.
