Use this information to install the 8x2.5-inch hot-swap drive backplane with controller expander.

• For more information about the connecting the SAS cables to the drive backplane, (see "Connecting

the SAS cables" on page 64).

• When you install this backplane, it attaches to the drive backplane that is next to it in the configuration,

using the two interposer cables that come with this backplane. See "Supported SAS/SATA drive

backplane configurations" on page 57 for the supported configurations that use this drive backplane.
