Step 2. Align the tabs on the fan cage assembly with the slots on both sides of the chassis and lower it into
the server.
Step 3. Rotate the fan cage assembly release latches down until the release latches are in the locked
position.

Replacing the server top cover

Use this information to replace the server top cover.
To replace the server cover, complete the following steps:
Step 1. Make sure that all cables, adapters, and other components are installed and seated correctly
and that you have not left loose tools or parts inside the server. Also, make sure that all internal
cables are correctly routed.
Note: Make sure you have closed the SAS cable guide cover before placing the cover over the
server.
